Yes David i can forgive them for putting a glass back on it.Its worth it to be able to see the caliber.Maybe it is less anti magnetic than the steel back model but i would rather look at the caliber.I think the 7 day caliber from IWC is the best in its price range in the watch world.The Big Ingenieur is just a great looking piece of watch sculpture in my eyes Icon_not Willy
