Come on get real there are certain brands that lose a lot of money off the new price.The only time they are a good buy is when they are used and very very cheap.People reading this Blogg deserve to get the truth.Not once in the beginning of this subject did anyone mention how hard GP watches are to sell again.Its ok to sell watches on this site and its ok if i give my opinion of them.Someone has to tell the truth about certain brands because believe me the guy selling them will not.I keep reading all these wonderfull write ups about certain watches coming up for sale but not many of them are subjective.GP are one of the hardest brands to sell or do a exchange deal with in the watch world.I have been told this by so many dealers i have lost count.To say anything else is in my opinion is to tell a lie.Of course you can make a good deal on a GP used if the price is right and get a lot of watch for the money.But believe me it will still be hard to sell again.There are many brands like this to name one more Baume& Mercier.A few years ago i took two nearly new BM watches to a German dealer for a friend.He only wanted a third of the new price for them the dealer would not take them at any price.So i tried 5 other dealers same story not intrested.There are brands that quite simply are a problem to sell again to say anything else is just not true. Willy. PS.to those of you that read this site and do not know much about watches just be gratefull some of us can stop you making a big mistake.
