I agree with you completely - both in terms of beauty and quality of the caliber. I have the Aquatimer 3536-1 and the caliber in this watch is based on an ETA but has been transformed into an entirely different level by IWC !!

Until now I am leaning towards a Portuguese (albeit maybe with a white dial) or a Day Date. But the purpose of this thread is to get some more inspiration so as to challenge my preferences

Ok i misunderstood sorry <!-- s:oops: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_redface.gif" alt=":oops:" title="Embarrassed" /><!-- s:oops: --> There is a watch you must look at.It is for sale with Bachmann & Scher in Munich a Chopard LUC Twist in white gold mint condition 43mm the dial on this watch is so beautiful.I have been meaning to buy it for the last 8 months but have not got the money right now.They wanted 55.000dkr but have come down to 48000dkr and i think they could be pressed even longer down.You get one of the best inhouse calibers in the watch world in a fantastic case.It is a steal in my opnion and if i could i would buy it tommorow Willy
