Modules are just a cheap way of making watches,and they are accidents
waiting to happen.IWC and Panerai and many others have been putting
bog standard calibers in their cheaper models for years.Many brands are
doing this today.
Just like the finish on a entry model Patek is not as good as on their top
models.But try telling this to watch people,and they will deny it to the
bitter end.About the only factory brand that does not do this is Lange.
Even their absolute entry models are finished to the same high standard
as their top models.
