I think Lange are the best factory produced watch you can buy.Maybe there are independent watch makers like phillipe dufour that can equal or beat them in the finish of their watches but PP-Ap and all the rest can forget it.A survey taken a few years ago in America amongst top companys placed Lange above all other Brands in the category of the most exclusive watch brand.When you think that PP have held that position for around 100 years that is quite an achievment for a brand that was forced to stand still in the former East Germany.Their ambition from day one was to put Patek into second place.They have not achieved this yet as used prices reflect.Patek like Rolex have manipulated the used watch market for many years and got away with it.Until a newspaper article in The New York Times a few years ago revealed all.PP and Rolex have been buying their own watches at auctions for high prices even bidding against themselvs to keep the prices of their watches at a high level.Lange have no need to do this and never will.They make the best and they know it.And time will judge them.
