Japansk Mioyta

Mioyta and ETA make millions of movements.And both make movements with different grades of quality.So it is very hard for us non watchmakers,to compair the different grades against one another.Mioyta calibers are reasonably robust,and are found in millions of watches.But everything i have read about them always criticises the finish of them.I have never read anything where a Mioyta caliber beats a ETA caliber in any department.But if they were not of a certain standard,then they would not be in so many watches.Here i have to trust the judgment of a watchmaker.But it would be interesting to find out about the different grades that Mioyta make compaired to ETA.
