It would be intresting to read your views on the lesser known watches made by famous brands . Example . Everyone knows about the Rolex Sub , but the Explorer is not so well known . The Explorer will never reach the hights of the Sub , but it is a great watch that combines dress with tool in a way that not many other watches can emulate .
Pateks Aquanaut is always in the shadow of the Nautilus , but does not deserve to be in my opinion . For many years the Aquanaut was the only PP you could take a swim with . You get a superb watch for half the price of a Nautilus , that does the same .
Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Co-Axial watches are well made watches that are tool and dress in the same package and at a very good price
IWC Portofino Chronograph is today 41mm size , and looks just as good in my opinion as its big brother the Portuguese . And the price is much lower .
Brietlings Superocean Heritage is a very discreet and goodlooking watch that costs much less than the bling models .
Any other ideas ? Willy
