History.
Created many classic watches.
Specially chronographs
Have worked with many countries armed forces in the past
Older models are very collectable
With IWC maybe the best known pilots watches

Negative.
Highly polished cases
Standard ETA calibers
Over priced
Look terrible after little hard use
Living on past history alone
Very very poor resale price.
Not a lot of respect left in the watch world.

I cannot say anything at all that is positive for modern Brietling watches.Their so called new caliber has been slam dunked on watch sites that can tell the truth.Just look at their resale value internationally.They might fool the public,but not the collectors.For me they are not serious watches and the last thing i would buy.
