why i like iwc

iwc have a history that earns them a place at least in the top five of the great traditional watch factorys.think portuguese,da vinci,pilot,ingenieur,aquatimer,and their grand complication,to name but a few.and they make probably,the best steel strap in the world.their german roots are visable in their no nonsense finish and design.yes they do use out of house calibers,that are maybe the most reworked in the watch world.their own calibers can compare with anything made by p.p. or a.p.their watch cases are renowned for the finish.their service is fairly priced and efficient.my criticism,because there is always criticism of any brand .i would like them to use the caliber 5000 seven day auto,in many of the less expensive models,or at least the 80111.and i think they have turned the new aquatimer into a bling diver.what where they thinking of? but having said that,i would rather buy a used iwc than say a new breitling for example.and as a alternative to all those rolex people.rolex are not even in the same class as iwc. willy the angry
