i think it is a stupid risk to take.for the money you save by letting a watch in the class of ex.p.p.vacheron,a.p etc be serviced by any watchmaker.it only needs one mistake and you have a huge bill waiting for you.i once knew a fantastic car mechanic,who had worked on racing cars.he agreed to rebuild the engine in my veteran porsche.he fucked my car engine completly.most good watchmakers would never agree to do a service on this type of watch.we often compare cars with watches on this site.well to let a bmw mechanic work on a rolls engine,because the moter block is built by bmw.would be suicide for the rolls engine.rolls rebuild these engines to much higher standards than any bmw.would you let your ferrari get serviced by the local fiat dealer? willy the angry
