the geneva seal is not a garanti of quality,and has never been.i do not dispute pateks quality in any way.but they are no longer in a class by themselves,as they were say 20 years ago.patek use chemical polishing more today than before where everything was hand polished.and to be honest they do not even come close to the production standards of lange.who use hand polishing,and build every watch two times before it leaves the factory.maybe patek should go back to making 5000 watches a year.maybe then they could once again reach past standards and not just live on them.
