Let us not forget a fact of life.Watches that have a basic ETA caliber inside them will never ever become a collectors dream.Now i am not saying that all these watches are rubbish.They can function many times as good as a inhouse big brand name.But and it is a big but they will never hold their price or become of intrest to a collector.Take Sinn they make great low price watches with good workmanship but they are not collectable in any way at this moment in time.Brands like JLC-AP-PP will always be of intrest becuase of their history and their own calibers.A Toyoto Corrolla is without a doubt more reliable than many super cars.But no one in their right mind will collect them.Just try to sell or part exchange many of the watches that are in the low price range then you get the truth.90% of these brands will not exist in 10 years time.I have had a few of them but i sell them quickly while the intrest in them is being generated on the bloggs by dealers.A watch that is often named as good value for money is the Seiko Sumo and i agree it is great value until they build a better model Willy
