I have owned a aquanaut,but never really used it in water.I have read a bit about how robust watches like offshore-nautilus are.But i have never seen a test of them.I wonder if they could stand up to really hard use.i would be intrested if anyone can enlighten me on this. willy

Hvad er en Offshore-Nautilus willy? En Patek Piguet eller Audemars Philippe måske Icon_e_biggrin

Uanset hvad er de to super serier.

Jeg kan kun give mit eget lys på sagen,jeg tror ikke på at PPs ure er en dyt bedre eller
mere holdbare end andre i samme prisgruppe,de har bare (for nogle) en finere aura Icon_e_confused

Tager man feks. JLCs 1000 timers test af deres ure skulle jeg mene de er min. lige så holdbare som det PP kan præstere.

Men nu kan jeg også finde min. 10 JLC modeller jeg ville købe før jeg købte et PP Icon_cool

Sorry, no tests or reviews but they are hardly waterproof at 100/120m. I really doubt they could stand much abuse compared to the more diver like IWC's or Rolex'es. Both Pateks mentioned have a see through casebacks (ref's 5167 and 5711).

Det kommer meget an på hvad du mener med at "bruge uret i vandet" Willy. Hvis du mener svømme rundt, ramme en sten, blive begravet på en sandstrand - så JA, Det kan de godt. Hvis du er erhvervsdykker så tror jeg ikke det er det bedste ur.

I once read, on timezone i think, a man who had been river rafting with his Nautilus jumbo, and there had been no problems.

These high-end sportwatches are not sportswatches like a Submariner etc, the movements are much to delicate, but I think they can with stand a lot- but not a whole lot.
